The Hand & The Eye is a 21+ Experience. All guests must be at least twenty-one years of age to enter.
Yes. Dress for a night of sophistication. While we encourage individuality, guests of The Hand & The Eye should be intentional in their choice of attire; best to err on the side of a polished and formal appearance.
Gentlemen: A collared shirt and jackets are required. Suits and Tuxedos are encouraged. Smart, clean, polished shoes.
Ladies: Cocktail dresses or artfully styled suits; evening attire, tailored trousers or skirts with elegant blouses or tops.
Not Permitted: Denim, sleeveless shirts, tank tops, flip flops, tennis shoes, shorts, distressed or ripped apparel, athletic wear or athleisure, athletic shoes, hooded sweaters or jackets, and please no boldly branded or embellished pieces.
When in doubt, dress with elegance.
Acceptable Hat styles: Berets, Bowlers, Cloches, Derbys, Fedoras, Homburgs, Panamas, Pillboxes and Top Hats.
Not Permitted: Beanies, Baseball Hats, Beach / Boater Bucket Hats, Outback / Field / Safari / Pith Helmet / Caps, Gambler Hats, Steampunk-style Hats, Trucker Caps.
Acceptable: Oxfords, Spectators, Brogues, Chelsea Boots, Monks, Derby, Loafers, Heels, Pumps & Stilettos, Elegant Ballet Flats, Mary Janes, statement Boots.

Our Experiences are thoughtfully curated to offer some of the finest Magic in the world. When you 'Book Magic' your reservation includes a ticket for close-up Magic, showroom experiences, a seated dinner paired with a night filled with wonder. Your reservation also includes $75 which will be applied to your dinner.
Your evening unfolds as a curated journey through the Mansion. Along the way, you'll encounter moments of close-up Magic in intimate showrooms and unexpected corners, hand-crafted cocktails and a formal, seated dinner. Guests are also invited to visit our Magic shop, The Atelier, before the evening concludes. No two visits are ever the same, and each return reveals something new.
All ticketed Experiences are considered non-refundable and non-transferable upon purchase.
Access to the Mansion is ticketed to create a one-of-a-kind evening. With each visit, new moments of wonder reveal themselves within the Mansion, ensuring the experience is never quite the same twice.
Reservations may be made online for parties of up to six guests. If multiple reservations are booked for the same evening, we will do our best to accommodate your group together. For larger gatherings, we invite you to submit a private event request here.
Your dining and Experience will be reserved under your name. Our performance spaces are open-seating, however the evening is curated and time-sensitive.
We encourage groups to arrive together. Guests will be gathered until your party arrives, please encourage all who are attending to arrive at the start time of your booked Experience.
We encourage all guests in your party to arrive together at the start of your booked Experience. If group guests arrive separately, all will be gathered until the full party arrives before being welcomed into the Mansion.
We will do our best to accommodate late arrivals; however, your experience may be shortened so that we don't disrupt the flow of the evening and we are able to accommodate your dining reservation.
Yes. Valet is limited, but available. If you plan on using our valet, please note that the service may be busy, so we recommend that you plan accordingly. Please note, anyone arriving more than fifteen minutes past the scheduled booking time may limit your ability to enjoy the full Experience.
Self-parking available at the ROW (Rush-Ohio-Wabash) Parking Garage with The Hand & The Eye negotiated rate. There is access on both Rush and Ohio. Validation will be provided by Guest Relations once you arrive at The Mansion. We also offer the ability to pre-book parking in the ROW garage; this information will be accessible after you reserve your tickets.
Moments within the Hand & The Eye are meant to be fully Experienced and enjoyed in the present, rather than captured. Photography of any kind is not permitted inside the Mansion. This policy is intentional and essential to preserving the Experience for our guests. Mobile phones must be used discretely. Phone calls are only permitted in designated areas. To preserve the Experience for all guests, those who do not adhere to this policy may be asked to depart.
No pets are permitted, except for service animals as defined under the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and Illinois State law. To the extent animals are permitted, they must be on a leash no longer than six (6) feet in length at full extension and must remain on the floor at all times. Emotional support or therapy animals are not permitted.
Guests will have the ability to visit the Atelier toward the end of your Experience. You will be able to purchase magic tricks along with select branded merchandise.
Out of respect for our members' privacy, we do not allow non-members to tour the property. If you know a member, please inquire about attending as their guest.
The Hand & The Eye maintains a strictly smoke-free environment. Smoking, including the use of electronic cigarettes or vaping devices, is not permitted anywhere within the Mansion. We kindly ask all guests to respect this policy to ensure a comfortable and enjoyable experience for everyone.
